PRIMAL CRAFTは波乱の2022年2月に産声をあげた。ビールに限らず、サイダー·ミード·ワイン·お茶など多彩なクラフト·ドリンクの輸入·販売·プロデュースを行う集団だ。中世の混沌の世に生まれ、ヨーロッパ社会の近代への進化の礎となった商人·職人集団『ギルド』のような組織を目指す。今またカオスに堕ちつつあるポスト·モダンな現代にジャンルの垣根を超えた『PRIMALな』（根本的、原始的、素朴、BASICという意味合い）CRAFTネットワークを築き上げようと目下奮闘中。

 

『言い出しっぺ』ブーラフ·ドミトリーは十数年来料理·日本酒·お茶に関わってきた。代々木Watering HoleのYuyaとMichikoと出会いクラフトビールの虜になる。2017-18年にオーガナイズしたスポット輸入でTTO@Watering HoleやSSBBフェスで日本のCRAFT BEER愛好家の度肝を抜かしたZAGOVOR BREWERY輸入のためPRIMAL CRAFTを立ち上げ、『戦争勃発』という最低最悪の事態においても可能性を模索するが日本国政府のロシア産酒類輸入規制を前に遂に断念（はい、ロシアビール輸入禁止で被害を受けたほぼ唯一のロシア人です）。

その後ヨーロッパのコネクションを辿り、セルビアのDOGMA BREWERYのビールと出会い、惚れ込み、2022年8月に輸入開始。9月から一般販売予定。その後順次日本未到達の素晴らしいブルワリーやワイナリーのお酒達を紹介していく予定だ。

同時に国内の醸造家仲間とコラボ計画が進行中。

第一弾は長野県大町市のSON OF THE SMITH HARD CIDERのハカセとのコラボでリリースするサイザー（ミードとサイダーの合いの子）２種。こちらは超限定生産であるが、すでに次作もデザインされつつあり、蜂蜜 × 果実の可能性を最大限引き出せるようハカセとあぁでもないこぅでもないと醸造FREAKSトークに歯止めがかからない。

同じく信州松本の盟友·勝山ちゃん（松本ブルワリー醸造長）とのOLD’S COOLなIPA構想からも目が離せない。

PRIMAL CRAFT raised it’s head in a war-wrecked February of 2022.

Here’s what we think about being PRIMAL.

Craftsmen and tradesmen (and their guilds) were the first heralds of modern society (and capitalism) emerging from the dark age. That’s primal.

  We are craft-oriented tradesmen of the postmodern World on the brink of the new dark age. We fight entropy by building a dense network of likely minded partners. Ain’t that primal?

We preach Japanese 用の美 “Beauty in Practice” concept - we embrace crafts as arts being practically implemented in the real, bringing beauty armed with purpose into every day, every moment of life.

Our mission as wee se it:

 - Sourcing beverages from manufacturers known to deliver consistent highest quality with great taste.

 - Bringing the true, simple and natural quality as the primal value, no fancy “marshmallow glitter smoothie sour” for us, please.

 - Building strong relations with suppliers & clients so that all sides have MAX out of it.

 - Creating new values through boundless collaborations.

 - Supporting and endorsing arts and crafts as we love ‘em.

Watch out for our imports starting with Serbia’s very best DOGMA BREWERY in September 2022, with more dope stuff to follow.

 We are also conspiring with our friends at Japanese breweries for PRIMAL collaborations.

The first release is August 2022 - a cyzer (mead brewed with apples) we made with Hakase from SON OF THE SMITH HARD CIDER (Ohmachi, Nagano). The first batch is super-limited, but stay calm, there’s more coming.

The next upcoming collab is going to be from Nagano again - the “Old’s cool” type of OG IPA by Matsumoto Brewery. You can’t miss this one!
